Sacramento is the capital
of the U.S. state of California

Located at the confluence of the Sacramento River and American River, the city was colonized in 1839. Since then, it has been a major distribution hub, a commercial and agricultural center and a terminal for trains, ships, the telegraph, the Pony Express and the first transcontinental railroad. Currently, the Old Port of Sacramento is mainly used for
rice exports, involving about
800,000 tons per year.

The historic relationship of this city with the Old West times defined the features of the Sacramento doors,
in the Charm Collection.
